The Child and Youth Psychology team at DPV Health is committed to providing a quality service for young children and youth aged up to 25 years of age and their caregivers, who are living, working or studying in the City of Hume and Whittlesea.
Our service accepts referrals from anyone, self and professionals. Seeing a psychologist is private and confidential, and we work with you to get the best possible outcome.

- Difficulties with emotion regulation

- Some capacity for Cognitive Assessments (children under 6 years of age)
A Psychologist can identify, assess and understand your areas of concern, help you to develop useful strategies, provide guidance and support, and facilitate improvement in your relationships. Counselling helps to improve communication within your family unit, enhance relationships and strengthen bonds, build your self-esteem, and improve your mental and physical health.

Fees
Fees are based on income, this service is Free for low income earners and fees apply for high income earners.
Who can use this service
This service is for children and young people (aged birth to 25 years) and their parents/carers. We accept self-referral, GP/Hospital or Maternal Child Health Nurse referral.
Please note we are for early intervention and not a specialised service for referrals for Drug and Alcohol, significant trauma other more severe clinical presentations. If that is your main concern, we recommend you speak with your GP or seek out specialise services elsewhere.
As a community health funded service, we do not accept NDIS-funded clients.
