Paediatric Health

Concerned about your child's health?

At DPV Health we are dedicated to providing the very best paediatric patient and family focused care.

Our general paediatricians offer care for newborn babies to adolescents with many different conditions and illnesses.

Visits to the general paediatrician range from a simple 6 week check up for your newborn, to ongoing care for children with complex and chronic medical conditions.

We work closely and proactively with colleagues involved in the child’s care. These may include speech pathologists, psychologists, teachers and educators, other medical specialists, dentists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

A referral should be made to a Paediatric Occupational Therapist if a child is having difficulties with:

  • Fine motor and hand skills: dexterity, grasping, holding a pencil

Paediatric Physiotherapy

The focus of the DPV Health Paediatric Physiotherapy team is to help children to grow strong and healthy. Paediatric Physiotherapy can assist your child to overcome delays in development through individualised evaluation and treatment schedules. We can support your child to improve their mobility, strength, balance and daily home and school activities. Read More

We provide comprehensive evaluation, assessment and treatments to address your child’s needs and development level. Our physiotherapists guide your child through individualised exercise programs that are developmentally appropriate to help your child reach their therapy goals.

Children are not mini adults; they are built differently, move differently and think differently. Our Physiotherapist may also be able to evaluate and treat your child in your home, childcare, kindergarten or school environment, if needed.
