Excellent Care Symposium 2026

Recently we hosted the 2026 Excellent Care Symposium at the Hume Global Learning Centre, Craigieburn. The theme of the symposium this year was The Right Way – Measure What Matters. The event brought together staff and partners across the health sector to reflect on what Excellent Care truly looks like, and how we measure what matters most across our areas of work and influence. We had over 130 people in attendance and 80 online!

The symposium sparked rich conversations about client experience outcomes and using meaningful data to continuously improve the care we provide; always centred on the people and communities we serve.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Louise McKinlay, Chief Executive Officer at Safer Care Victoria, whose insights on measuring care quality and impact set a powerful tone for the day and challenged us to think differently about how evidence can drive safer, better care.

DPV Health is committed to growing capacity across the Community Health sector through its annual Excellent Care (Clinical Governance) and ICT (Technology) symposiums. Our next ICT Symposium is scheduled to occur in June 2026 and will focus on applications of AI in community health settings. Invitations will be released shortly.
