An arson incident occurred at DPV Health’s Drive-through COVID-19 Testing Site at Waterview Drive, Mernda overnight.
Fortunately no one was injured in the incident and the property damage was relatively minor. The incident occurred at approximately 10.30pm (whilst the site was closed), with emergency services attending onsite by 10.45pm.
DPV Health is assisting emergency services with their enquiries and the incident is not believed to be politically motivated.
DPV Health personnel and our industry partners are onsite today preparing the site to reopen and services will resume on Wednesday 2nd September 2020. The site involved will undergo a full disinfection clean and all appropriate safety, security and infection prevention protocols are in place.
