Join us in marching at the 2020 Midsumma Pride March Sunday 2 February.

Northern Health, Nexus Primary Health, Hume Whittlesea Primary Care Partnerships are marching together with DPV Health for the Pride March Melbourne this Sunday – and you’re invited!

Pride in the North is a collaboration supported by local health organisations in Melbourne’s north: Northern Health, DPV Health, Nexus Primary Health, and Hume Whittlesea Primary Care Partnerships. Our purpose is to make health services in the north safe and friendly for LGBTIQ+ service users and staff. DPV Health is an inclusive organisation that celebrates the diversity of all people within our communities.

The discrimination experienced by members of the LGBTIQ+ community can lead to poorer health outcomes compared to those in the general community, which is why we are working we are working towards achieving Rainbow Tick Accreditation by mid-2020. We are passionate about enabling all people to lead happy, healthy lives and we are taking to the streets of Melbourne to show our support.

DPV Health CEO Don Tidbury said about the event “I am proud to see DPV Health and my team strongly represented at the 2020 Pride March. As an inclusive organisation it is essential we stand beside our industry partners and the queer community to support gender and sexuality diversity in Australia.”

We will be providing FREE bus services from Epping/Bundoora and Broadmeadows, so be sure to register your place as soon as possible.
