Grants up for grabs to support Female Inclusion in Sports
We’re excited to be working with the City of Whittlesea in offering the Female Inclusion in Sports Grant Program (FISG).

Funded by City of Whittlesea Council and DPV Health, FISG provides funding of up to $3,000 (ex GST) to City of Whittlesea based sporting clubs. Funding is provided for clubs to run projects
aimed at increasing female inclusion in all aspects of sporting clubs (e.g. as players, coaches, umpires and in leadership roles).
Sport offers many health and well-being benefits, as well as increasing leadership opportunities, self-esteem, interpersonal networks, social inclusion and community connections. Despite these benefits, more than two thirds of Australian women aren’t getting enough exercise to benefit their health.
Addressing gender inequity is crucial to achieving better health and social well-being; improved organisational performance; and the prevention of violence against women.
The FISG Program aims to assist clubs to develop projects that promote and encourage equal inclusion of females in sports across the municipality.
Applications close 5pm Friday 28 February. Click below for more info!
