HeadtoHelp has become Head to Health. The change of name is to bring Victoria in line with a national government rollout of the service that now includes NSW and the ACT. It’s the same great service, support and number.
Head to Health is a free mental health service, funded by the Commonwealth Government, for people who are experiencing stress, anxiety and other mental health issues. This includes people who have never accessed mental health services before and their family and friends. It also is for family and friends of those in aged care.
The Head to Health multi-disciplinary team consists of mental health workers, including psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and lived experience staff, who can support you through telehealth, or onsite at a hub. The hub is co-located with DPV Health medical services and has established care coordination pathways with other GP services within the region.
