Homelessness Week 2019

Every year, the Homelessness service sector participate in Homelessness Week.  The aim of this event is to raise awareness about the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness and to advocate for sustainable change to end homelessness in Australia. In 2019, the theme is ‘Housing ends Homelessness’.

DPV Health – Homelessness Service, is a Specialist Homelessness Service funded by the Department of Health and Human Services. We provide Case Management to those at risk of, or for those experiencing homelessness. DPV Health- Homelessness Service accept referrals from the local access point, Haven; Home Safe in Preston.

We are participating in Homelessness Week by holding information stalls in the local community. Our experienced Case Managers will be available to provide information about what you can do to help end homelessness in Australia, as well as information for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

There will also be colouring in sheets and a dolls house for children to play with.

We will be available:

Monday 5th of August- Friday 9th of August at the Northern Hospital Foyer (9:00am-4:00pm)
Wednesday 7th of August at Epping Pacific Shopping Centre in front of Big W (9:00am-4:00pm)
