Complex Wheelchair & Seating Clinic

The Complex Wheelchair and Seating Clinic (CWSC) is a specialised clinic providing support for the provision of complex wheelchair and seating services, for adult clients. The clinic is equipped with a team of health professionals who bring their expertise in the assessment and prescription of seating and mobility solutions, for both power and manual wheelchairs.

If you are a long term wheelchair user or have complex wheelchair and/or seating needs, you may benefit from the various forms of assistance offered at the clinic:

• Comprehensive assessment of your physical and postural needs by an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist
• Pressure mapping
• Information and advice about equipment needs and options
• Assistance with the prescription of wheelchair and seating equipment or systems
• Assistance with trialling equipment
• Review of equipment once supplied
• Assistance to identify and coordinate modification and customisation of equipment with other services
• Assistance with funding applications
• Annual review of equipment and postural needs
