General Practice Respiratory Clinic is now closed at DPV Health Medical Centres in Broadmeadows and Mill Park.

DPV Health’s respiratory clinics support people with breathing and lung problems and COVID-19 like symptoms including:

• Mild asthma
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Runny nose
• Shortness of breath
• Loss of smell or loss of taste

DPV Health’s respiratory clinics do not provide COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic patients. If you do not have respiratory symptoms and require a COVID-19 test only, an appropriate testing location can be found here

What services do the respiratory clinics provide?

Conveniently located within the local community, clients can access respiratory testing and treatment without going to the hospital. The clinics are operated and staffed by specialised and qualified clinicians, including general practitioners and nurses. The services are available to those with or without a Medicare card, at no cost to the client.

The clinics will;

• Undertake respiratory assessments of symptomatic clients, including COVID-19 testing
• Support management of patient’s immediate respiratory illness
• Refer patients back to their usual GP for ongoing care or assistance to identify a GP if they don’t already have one
• Support people who test positive for COVID-19 to receive care through the COVID Positive Pathways program, which links people to clinical care, monitoring and support services

How can you access our respiratory clinics?

You can book online. Appointments preferred. If attending the respiratory clinic as a walk-in, please call ahead as there is often very limited availability.
