DPV Health nominated for 2019 Victorian Homelessness Achievement Award

DPV Health has been nominated for The 2019 Victorian Homelessness Achievement Award in the “EXCELLENCE IN ENDING HOMELESSNESS – ADULTS” category.

We’re proud of this recognition of our work in preventing homelessness for adults in Victoria through the DPV Health Housing Advice, Referral and Information (HARI) project.

The HARI program was developed at DPV Health so reception and allied health practitioners could refer patients who disclosed they were homeless or at risk of homelessness to a skilled case manager. Since late 2017 it has supported around 100 households to sustain their current housing, avoid homelessness and access other services and information.

The Awards celebrate those who have made standout contributions to ending homelessness, and have been nominated by their peers as deserving recognition. Winners announced tomorrow, Monday 14 October!
